Board Certified in Pediatrics
Dr. Shannon attended the University of Delaware and Philadelphia’s MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine. Her residency was with Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital of the University Hospitals of Cleveland and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. With numerous awards and recognitions throughout her education, Dr. Shannon has also volunteered with Hope for Kids, the AMA student outreach program and the School of Medicine Toys for Tots program. Her dedication to the children of South Riding Pediatrics is no less!
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. Shannon decided to go into medicine between High School and College, looking for a way to combine her love of science with a desire to work with kids, Pediatrics was the answer! When Dr. Shannon has free time, she enjoys the theater and movies, The West Wing and reading mystery novels, however, it’s no mystery that she’s completely dedicated to the health of the children of South Riding Pediatrics!
