South Riding Pediatrics is now a division of Trusted Doctors. In June, we began transferring our practice management over to an electronic platform. In mid-September, we will begin transitioning to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) as well.
EMR offers a number of benefits to our families by providing:
- Accurate, up-to-date, and complete information about patients at the point of care
- Secure sharing of electronic information with patients and other clinicians
- Improved patient and provider interaction and communication
- Increased provider efficiency and productivity
- Safer, more reliable prescribing
- Accurate, streamlined coding and billing
- Enhanced privacy and security of patient data
Our goal is to provide a smooth transition with minimal impact to you while continuing to provide outstanding patient care.
However, to accommodate the administrative changes, physician schedules will be scaled back during the transition. You may experience longer wait times in the short term.
To help reduce the likelihood of delays for you and all of our families, we ask that you arrive at your next appointment 15 minutes early with your photo ID and insurance card and that you work with our staff for data collection/entry to ensure the data entered is up to date and accurate.
