  • About

Dr. Ben joined South Riding Pediatrics in June 2004, and was made a partner in July 2007. He grew up in the Springfield area, and takes pride in the fact that many childhood friends put their children’s health in his hands. He graduated from the University of Virginia for both undergraduate and Medical school, and loves to follow UVA sports-even when they aren’t doing wonderfully. For his pediatric residency training, he moved on to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Along the way, Dr. Ben has had many honors, but none compare to the satisfaction he takes from keeping his patients healthy and happy. He is board certified in pediatrics and is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Medical Society of Virginia, and the Northern Virginia Pediatric Society. Dr. Ben enjoys many sports including soccer, basketball, and watching college football. He loves to travel with his wife, an emergency medicine physician from Texas, he met during residency training. Among other places, they have been to Costa Rica to do mission work. Recently, they have been more domestic in their travels. Focusing on their beautiful children, they travel to farms, playgrounds, and even volunteer in their church nursery. Dr. Ben knows that spending time and teaching and learning with kids is a wonderful blessing.
